A game pretty close to perfect to me. I read a lot of angry reviews from players not getting it and finding the system somewhat artificially punishing… I can say with confidence it wasn’t the case for me at all! It is clearly not for everyone but if you’re after a true new-gen experience with an extremely rewarding challenge, Returnal is a masterpiece in its own right!
