I'm on E3 now and I don't get the reason for the scathing reviews the series is receiving. Granted I might change my mind once I'm done binge watching, but from what I've seen thus far, It's miles better storywise than most of the other REs in the franchise. I'm enjoying the pacing. Set, sound design, acting (for the most part; I'm not particularly fond of some of the minor characters) are on point. I'd say give this series a chance. If nothing else, it's entertainment. No harm no foul.
