I loved this movie. It’s 2024 and it’s my first time seeing it. So it held up. What I didn’t like is they had to do the dark skinned (ride or die) women mad at home with the kid while he flirting and fraternizing with the light skinned (or other) women like it’s ok. I’m tired of seeing that image, message pushed in black shows and movies. Can the real brown skinned, dark skinned black women ever win? Can we be in the reverse roll? SMH I am so over that. That’s why I can’t give this movie the 5 stars It would be without that tired storyline .

I loved to see a African American couple Krystal and Dedric flipping houses on television, while also having a awesome purpose. Generational wealth for there children. But unfortunately we knew it wouldn’t last because of there color. I didn’t trust there construction team either. Chris was not pleasant,or polite (no pun intended) in like the 3rd episode and I just wished they fired them and got a different team. But it’s no telling what came with the contractual agreement. Lol

I feel bad for the women who is married to the undercover Narcissist “ pastor “. She always deserved better, never should have married him, needs to run and never turn back!! “God doesn’t like divorce” was said so much but no one ever mentioned “Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church“. This show is so much of what’s wrong with the black church and the black mentality. We need to do better!! Black men need to do better! Black leaders Must do better! I would and could say more but I’m going to keep my pearls!!
