I’m a die hard Voyager lover and I love Prodigy! If you go into it with the knowledge that it is a show designed to introduce kids to Star Trek and the viewer is supposed to learn about Starfleet along with the characters it makes sense the show isn’t much like original Trek. If you go into it expecting it to be another version of Lower Decks you’ll be super disappointed and quite frankly clueless as Prodigy was ALWAYS intended to be specifically to be a cartoon FOR KIDS! It is a sweet brilliant way to introduce Star Trek to kids and I’m super sad it may not get a second season. I’m really hoping ot does get a second chance. I’m a future hopeful adoptive mom and m looking forward to sharing Prodigy ( even if it’s only season 1) with my kiddos. It’s actually one of the best Star Trek shows on TV currently. And NO this was not a paid glowing review add like some 1 star complained about. Mine is unpaid and directly comes from my love of the show!
