Morbius is definitely not as bad as you've been seeing, and is far from the "Worst Marvel Film." Morbius is a fun popcorn flick who is aware of its movie type. Morbius offers some good action sequences with a solid lead in Jared Leto. The plot's predictability did not take away from my enjoyment of the movie, but that doesn't mean Morbius is without flaws. Morbius suffers from a restrictive PG-13 rating, similar to its Sony-Verse counterparts, Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The movies runtime is painfully short, with the climactic showdown feeling rushed and oversimplified. The visual effects, often impressive, are still very messy for a significant portion of the movie. The villain, for me, was a cheap knockoff with no real substance. 6.5/10
