Like others, I was unsure of the show during the first two episodes, it just seemed flat. There were hints at dark corners but I feared that it would be Orville-esque and disappoint. IT DOES NOT! Stick with it and those dark corners grow and bloom into something quite amazing. It takes a different path than a show like Legion, but it blows my mind weekly nonetheless. Fantastic performances and writing. Strongly recommend.
