Oh dear. I had been so looking forward to seeing this film. On of histories most interesting and enchanting figures. Napoleon was dull. Dull dialogue, dull battle scenes, riddled with historical inaccuracies and mumbling dialogue from the lead actor who seemed to be going through the motions. It’s once saving grace was the treatment of costumes, cinematography and Josephine. I love Ridley Scott’s films. This, this was just a bad film. Sorry.
