I have not seen a musical movie as Chamkila. A career best performance by Diljeet Dosanjh and Parineeti. Imitiaz Ali has shown why he is the best director in the country. The flow, the ease of watching with thet punjabi songs and brilliant use of actual footage at every point of film makes it an ideal homage to the singer. The film is an institution or a masterbook for upcoming directors who wish to make any biopic. Kudos Imitiaz Ali!
