wow I'm really shocked no one has even left a review on this movie that came out over a decade ago!!! the anime and live action were significantly different. if u dont wanna watch, I'll tell u a shorter version- SPOILERS AHEAD so our main character Saya, is a vampire and kills demons and in return is given blood (which she needs to survive) by an undercover corporation who works in secret without the government knowing. these demons are creatures, that disguise themselves as humans and live a normal life unless they transform into their true forms. Saya's main goal in the modern world is to find and kill onigen, the great demon that killed her father centuries ago. on her journey to find onigen, she runs into Alice, a police's daughter and as Alice becomes suspicious of Saya, ends up following her on this quest. (fast forward some details) and now Saya and onigen come head to head and she finds out onigen is actually her mother. in anger, she finally kills onigen and the story ends with Alice testifying to the police who obviously dont believe her. this movie is definitely underrated and definitely deserves more recognition. the CGI wasn't that great and the fighting scenes didn't look too real but all in all, it was fine. more people should definitely watch it and i was excited when i realised jun ji hyun (K drama actor) was playing in the film. 😁😁👍
