I wasn't expecting much and got even less.
The title should have tipped me off at how bad and unimaginative this movie was going to be.
It's a rip off of many other movies that did this trope right.
The time lines didn't match, making things confusing (if you're paying attention) and some of the story is just...poorly written.
A single beat cop caught the killer? With no proof or evidence? Ok cool story.
The cop was leaving super obvious clues for the kid who was on to him? C'mon, has the writter ever seen a serial killer movie before?
The production was good, but direction of this movie was just bad.
The acting was fine. The story had potential, but it fell flat.
Also there wasn't one second of this movie that didn't have synthesized music running over every bit of dialogue.
Really trying to be Stranger Things mixed with IT, mixed with every bad throwback, 80s, Hardy Boys, wanna be movie ever made.
I got through it...but it was painful to watch.
