Genuinely one of my new favorite movies. I watched it, and then the watched it AGAIN in the same day 😭. There isn’t a single bad character in this movie, and all the characters interactions are super entertaining. The way the two main characters, Patty, who has a garbage job and is pretty weird but very loveable and constantly gets mistreated by everyone around her, and Simon, who is a punk rocker and also weird that doesn’t take crap from anyone and is a pyromaniac, fell in love with each other was weirdly adorable. It seems like Patty made Simon really feel seen, and he won’t let anyone talk down to her in any way. It’s definitely a dark comedy, which usually I can take it or leave it, but this was done so well and you just need to watch the movie if you haven’t. You’ll love it.

Bro just watch this movie it literally is one of the most beautiful movies I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a very raw and real movie and I almost cried a few time ngl.

At the beginning of the movie it does an amazing job of setting the tone. Jake Gyllenhaal did an amazing job in this movie. I really hated his character (a good thing), and in the end we see the bad guy get a happy ending, something you never really see. The movie was put together amazing I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. It’s a great movie.
