I have used this text book in the past for a cognitive psychology class. This book is Jammed and Crammed with information that, for the most part has nothing to do with the subject of Cognition. Most chapters are long (30 to 40) pages.
As a reader, losing interest in the topics are expected and retaining information is impossible. Main Focus of a chapter switches from one page to the next one and it is hard to make sense of what is being discussed.
For the most part this text book also seems like an English Literature book and a dictionary with definitions after definitions and terms after terms. There also seems to be a lot of filler discussions in the chapters, attempting to somehow bridge the information together, and this is done horribly.
I Totally lost interest after the first Chapter. Glad I got credits for my course but this is one of the worst text books I have ever had for a psychology course.
