I try to avoid reading the description when I’m about to watch a movie or tv show. Well, even if I had read the description for this film it wouldn’t have made a difference. I have to admit, I was a little puzzled as to why Emily, (who's a kindergarten teacher) would encourage an elementary school student to confront a custodian about mopping while he’s still at school. Even though it’s clearly after school and everyone else has left for the day. However, once the swastika carved into the pie was revealed at the mixer, everything quickly began to make sense. These white women who had regular jobs and presented themselves as something different publicly were actually white supremacists. I can’t say that I was surprised, but I will admit I didn’t see that coming. Overall, the film was a clear reminder that ppl show you who they want you to see, until it’s time to show you who they really are. And like most of the ppl in the world who think the way these women think, they’re usually missing the point. They’re upset with everyone accept themselves. To them, It’s usually everyone else’s fault why they aren’t where they feel they should be in life. If ppl who think this way really looked at the history of this country, they’d know that the NAs, AAs, Asian Americans, Hispanics and of course the Jews are the ones who should feel slighted and down right angry about the way they have and still are treated in this country. The worst thing you could ever do to another human being is dehumanize them. And at the end of the day the women in this film dehumanized anyone who didn’t look like them. Therefore they proceeded to kill without hesitation or remorse. I encourage everyone to watch this film and remind themselves that this is the world we live in.
