I like Skeleton Crew. It’s exactly what they told us it was. If The Acolyte had done the same it might still exist. Also, having a look at a planet’s normal people was long overdue.

Greatest Xmas movie ever. Made Santa matter again.

Too slow, not intriguing, and empty of compelling characters. I wanted to like The Acolyte, it just isn’t entertaining me. I was hoping for a more mystery/investigative type story but it’s a plod that wants to be epic but when faced with too short of episodes and I assume/hope too much information to cram in the story fails and provides far too little. The lack of character development and too much focus on the Jedi can be slavish to bureaucracy which leads them to morally grey areas does a disservice to story. After the prequel trilogies and all the cartoons, we know the Jedi have problems. I’m still watching the show but it’s with no joy and not even the same day as the new episodes drop.

One of the most entertaining and original shows I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch. Would love it to run forever.
