Love love love ❤️ this drama! All the characters are super likeable! I even like the bad ones! The child actor (Fan Xian) is like a mini Stephen Chow! Waiting eagerly for Season 2!

I find the show watchable though not as intriguing or addictive as Yanxi Palace or Ruyi Love in the Palace. The lead actress is too saintly to be real and the love development between Yao and the emperor not convincing enough.
Overall just slightly above average.
