I couldn't be any more disappointed with this show. Disney, again, showed us how bad they are at producing more and more Star Wars movies and shows. Obi-Wan Kenobi's story, dialogue, and acting are absolutely awful. Even with 5 or 6 writers, they can't even give us a decent, smooth, action-packed, nostalgic story. That's what this show was promised to be and it didn't even achieve ONE of those goals. Reva is a horrible, cheesy, actress and character. She acts like a five-year-old and throws a tantrum when she doesn't get what she wants in the show. Oh, and she also has the dumbest lines that could've been written for a character like her in Star Wars. Yes, I expect Obi-Wan to be afraid after the awful events during Order 66. But his cowardly demeanor when he runs away from Darth Vader when Obi-Wan has his lightsaber DRAWN is flat-out pathetic. He's nothing but a sissy in the show. All in all, this show has been an absolute flop for me. I was so stoked to finally see my favorite character have a solo show and to find out what actually happened to him between Order 66 and A New Hope. What an absolute disappointment. With a whopping 6 episodes in the series, it looks like this will just be another money-churning device for Kathleen Kennedy and the folks up at Disney to add to their fat paychecks.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is unlike any other Marvel Studios movie. And not in a good way. The plot was messy and lacked quality, the horror aspect of the movie failed to deliver adequately, cheesy lines and scenes were all over the place, and the dialogue could've been written by a high school dropout. I understand that Sam Raimi wanted to make the "first Marvel horror film" by implementing some of his other cinematic techniques and styles in some of his other films. However, it seemed to me that Raimi went the extra mile to speak with the late Walt Disney via ouija board to absolutely make sure that the movie would not be rated R. The "scares" in the movie didn't qualify at all for a "horrifying Marvel movie". All I know is that the Walt Disney Company didn't want their image to be altered in any way by just one of their films being rated R. The movie also lacked depth and consistency in the plot. I felt like I was being dragged through the multiverse bored and dull the entire 126 minutes. Love Marvel. I read the comics when I was a kid, I love the quality filmmaking, storytelling, jaw-dropping visual effects, but this is the first movie Marvel Studios has produced that I start to question the future of the franchise. Hopefully, Thor 4 and Wakanda Forever will do well. But for me, this film fell short of my expectations of Marvel's talent and capability to deliver a masterpiece of a movie. It just wasn't quite there.
