I got this game for $8 and it was well worth it for that price. If I payed the full original price, I think I would be more critical. It looses a star for me in spite of the sale price because the story mode was short. You get to customize your characters before the game starts which is strange because it’s a first person game and you never see these characters again. Optional interactions with CPU characters in the game is a nice thought but kind of legitimately pointless. It’s cool that they were trying to add character depth to the story but I had hopes the interactions would lead to some kind of greater mystery to solve or I had hopes the interactions would lead to side missions or something like that. Along with the options to inspect other parts of the hanger, these interactive options had no real effect on the gameplay or story and they made me feel like I was wasting my time. It took me a while to realize I could just skip those options and go on to the levels which there unfortunately weren’t many of. I’d say it’s a high 3 star game but I’ve rounded up because of the price. However, if they come out with a sequel to this game with in depth missions as depicted in the movies…I’m all in!

This movie had stunning visuals and tremendous acting. I took the time to read some of what should be the TLDR negative reviews but seldomly found anything other than pedantic rants without any real context in regards to comparisons to the comics. People need to lighten up. It was an interesting film to say the least

It’s hard to imagine anyone that has worked at a Sam Ash Music finding any joy even having to think about Sam Ash Music because the staff can feel so taken advantage of. The worst. Makes the show not watchable for me

It would be awesome if it weren’t compared to the original; this is soulless in comparison. I’d say the acting is much better than in the original and maybe the pacing is better but beyond that, it’s a different type of film. The original took chances with the cinematography that gave it grit in spite of it being musical theater. I found this new version to be too cookie cutter and I didn’t see the same artistic value
