Antigone Snow

I'm a huge fan of the OG Penny Dreadful. That doesn't mean I didn't give this show a chance. I was even glad to see that its completely separate from the original, since they can't bring back the entire cast, especially Eva Green. The original was smart, scary, captivating, and emotional. Unlike it's predecessor, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is just boring, and it lacks that Horror/supernatural elemental that made the OG Penny Dreadful so memorable. I also think this show would have done better without the name "Penny Dreadful" attached to it. I think this show does a disservice to the actors as well. The acting is great, the sets to amazing, it's just the script/story line is so awful.
