The grizzled old exorcist and the young priest with faith issues, an absent father, the first subtle signs, the head-spinning, the throwing up, the loud noises, the levitation, the spider-walking... There hasn’t been a bearded pope in more than 300 years. Pope John Paul II was Polish not Italian.
