I feel bad for people who actually thought this movie was great. I went to movie with my little cousin, and he was crying because Ariel looked scary. Some other kids in the theater was crying and screaming as well. The movie was not for kids. It definitely was not for adults as well. Some people were complaining that she was black, but I knew from the beginning that her race was not the problem.. it was her appearance. I am sure she is attractive and beautiful in person, but she is pretty ugly to be a Disney princess. I think this was my first movie ever where I could not focus because the main actress was not pretty in the screen. Her voice was beautiful but not charming enough to be main character in the movie. I think she would have been more successful if she was in one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
