One Life follows the heroic true story of Nicholas Winton who rescued over six hundred children in the lead up to the Second World War. It really is a deeply powerful and incredibly moving story that needs to be told. It is without a doubt one of the best movies I've seen and I can't recommend it highly enough. Everyone should see this movie! It is so deeply emotional and really will have you glued to the screen. I'm familiar with the story of Nicholas Winton and utterly loved this movie! Anthony Hopkins plays the role of Nicholas Winton perfectly with huge emotion and conviction supported so well by Johnny Flynn playing a young Nicholas. This movie really needs to be seen and this powerful story heard.

An all around enjoyable movie with a very deeply moving story. I wouldn't class it as a comedy but more of a powerfully told and driven story. I very much enjoyed it and found that the actress who plays Dolly is perhaps the strongest character in the film. She holds it together and watching her story and motivations is powerful. This is deeply powerful movie with a lot more to it than may appear. But it's something that might mean more to some more than others. There are a number of powerful stories being told here. Well worth a watch.
