This book is one of the most well know classics for a reason. The messeges and vaules carefully developed in this book is extraordinary and it kept in me fully in the book from start to finish. I firmly believe everyone should read this book at least once in their lives as it might just change your view on life as a whole. The way Coelho incorporates his philosphical messeges into the plot, inbeds meaning into the entire story. I see the entire book as one big analogy of life. Santiago leaving his job to pursue his own goals, his own personal fulfillment, was Coelho's messege and what he believes each and everyone should do at some point in their lives. This book makes you wonder about yourself and mkaes you question what you really need and what you really want. It is a life changing book.
