Aaron Maki

This is my all time second favourite album. After Physical Graffiti. Sounds like what I assume is a bunch of guys jamming for a week and recording live. At least that’s the feel. First heard this driving through the windy roads outside of Nimbin Australia (google it) with an old mate Charlie. I can listen to this over and over. Never gets tired. Nothing is similar. Overlooked, but the best work from Neil Young imho. “Country home” is a stand out (for me) and “Over and Over “ in its three chord unpretentious glory. All tracks are great, which is the measure of an album. Perform any song from this on Pop Idol or some stupid show and get the buzzer in two seconds. Perfect.
