Liked the actors but this was boring.

Boring. I loved the cast but man it just dragged on. I made myself watch till the end. I thought there would be a climatic ending maybe they would fast forward to after the war and tell what happened to these people and the find. I would have been interested especially to see how Lily James and Ralph Fiennes characters developed after the war as they took a lot of abuse during the time of the dig. Did they continue the dig afterwards? Were they credited or did the blow hard take all the glory? What happened to the son? I wouldn't recommend this movie at all.
