As a historian I was heartened to see from other reviewers how accurate this film was to the actual events. As a piece of entertainment I found it enjoyable but not much more so than Pearl Harbor, which for all of its cheese was still a decent war film. My only complaint is the heavy use of CGI. For all of technology’s abilities it still is easy to tell fake from real.
