Premise was promising. Overall, worth spending 2hrs on a plane watching. Execution throughout the acts was not as sharp. On numerous occassions, it felt like scenes were shot/dialogues to cover up holes in the plot. Character development seemed to need more time...maybe could’ve been better for this story as a series/trilogy? Final twist at the end was good but could’ve been more impactful with better build up.
A dystopian movie with similar premise—with much better execution—is of course Alfonso Cuaron’s Children of Men.
