A pretty dreadful movie. Instead of any nuanced look at 'wildness,' it's about a robot who essentially domesticates a group of wild animals. The animals are not only grossly anthropomorphized, but also infantilized into snuggley little fur balls. Nature is far more beautiful, and wildness way more interesting than this. Trite to the max I'm afraid. Full of tired tropes. That said, I was entertained by the action and visuals, and stayed the course anyway. Ugh.
