I thought it started out pretty good. But after episode 6 or 7:00 it became a regurgitation of other people's science fiction stories. The latest one with the Gorn looking exactly like alien it's embarrassing and it's pathetic. I think they're wrecking the franchise. Lazy writing and a lack of imagination and anybody who watches sci-fi can see that they have regurgitated somebody else's excellent plot. On balance I think the actors are very good so it's a wasted opportunity. I really like the casting but do you have to reproduce episodes that were done 20 or 30 years ago with the new cast? Come on! Is that the best you can do.
