It is impossible to categorise this book - farce (it isn’t funny); adventure (the narrative is muddled and without even a hint of tension). It concerns a character suffering from the after effects of a severe head injury who is concussed and thus (?) slips into and out of an inner phantasy world. However it reads as if it is the author who is him/her self suffering from a neurological trauma - so incomprehensible is the narrative. It is profoundly unsatisfying and having endured a turgid 66% of this tosh I can persevere no further. We’re it possible to award No Stars then I would!!
