One of the best books that I've read in my life - and I read a lot. I am actually reading it now for the third time! Having the opportunity to went on three hunting trips to the old Rhodesia, the country has stolen my soul. The writer predicted in 1967 already what is going to happen in Africa - and he was 100% correct. Anyone who is interested in Africa and the politics of Africa should read this book. And then there are the beautiful romantic parts that remind me of the relationship I had with my ex-girlfriend. A book that makes you laugh and makes you cry and makes your blood boil.
