A bland unimaginative movie, while visually beautiful, this movie is nothing but a 90 min highlight reel with no true plot or character development, the excuse of "oh its a video game, its a kid's movie" movie is just weak, there are tv shows with 1/10 the budget that has a better plot in 30 mins than this movie. My son asked to go home several times saying it was boring. The fact that a movie with a cat wearing boots has a better plot just shows they didn't want to try and they realize Mario fans have no intellect. If you think the Minions films are good movies then you're the perfect person for this lol
