Critics treating this series harshly just goes to show you how out of touch with audiences paid critics can be. I guess it’s more entertaining to give harshly negative reviews than recognizing the many merits of a series? The fact that the critics rating is 58% and audience ratings are 92% illustrates this greatly. The Witcher is set in a complex and immersive world full of action, drama, passion, and humor. All of the actors do a great job and are easy to get invested in. Everything is so well shot and the budget for this must be pretty good. Even the CG monsters look good fighting Geralt. Definitely give this one a watch if you like the genre at all and if you enjoy it take the time to give positive reviews because critics are not being fair.
