A book to savor, cherish and remember

It has many enjoyable and original aspects and some of the writing is very good. But the book mirrors characters and aspects of the plot in 2015 book A Little Life to a shocking degree which ruined it for me. Jude and Sam, successful outsiders whose damaged leg and pain dominate their lives. The love triangle and shocking sudden death…She should have tried harder to come up with something else. She clearly doesn’t lack the talent.
