Lo and behold, what makes a compelling research topic is the surprise element to watch. Don't miss! Vijay is proven to be a seasoned actor with excellent acting prowess especially the way he portrays a middle-class youth in Family Star walking a tight rope to run a joint family overcoming the limitations of the day to day pressures. Family Star has been ** refreshing ** in capturing human emotions in a very subtle way. I can see how the movie shapes up a theme glorifying family stars mostly the unsung heroes in real life. Very touching! Mrinal Thakur has given a very good performance too. I am not a native Telugu speaking but have started enjoying his movies as they are not the usual run-of-the-mill masala movies. They stand above the majority of boring box office hits who have the same stale storylines from decades. It's time to make movies that are intended for class audience too and of course powerful storytelling doesn't require outlandish action sequences or superficial item songs. Instead, the movie can rely on the strength of its characters, like this one. Even the grand mom's role in 'Family Star' is so subtle yet powerful. I wish Vijay Deverakonda to continue making more meaningful movies that prove as good family entertainers as there is growing number of his fans from neighboring state too.
