Finally a production that has the courage to break the mold. I am so tired of the elevation of light-skinned people as the default protagonist, superior good guy in every Hollywood script.. 'See' takes full advantage of its 'blind humanity' premise and assembles a cast that puts every race on a level playing field. I could not get through the first 5 minutes of the new 'Lord Of The Rings' for the angelic and pure presentation of the light-skinned, blond haired, blue-eyed beings to set the foundation for the fantasy. The freedom that a fantasy drama has over a historical drama is that the casting is not bound by our own race based hierarchy and bias. Hollywood most always plays it safe because the first priority is not the art, but the box office. Thank you Apple for once again being an innovator and game changer in everything you do..
