Big Budget films are successful only with Mohanlal in lead, eg: Pulimurugan. Mammootty's big budget Pazhassiraja was a huge loss (budget 27cr). Casanova budget was only 12cr and was a BAD film unlike pazhassiraja. Producers are even willing to invest 1000cr for Mohanlal film, while Mammootty's 75cr film Karnan is craving to get a producer. That hesitation & fear can be seen here too - Mohanlal's kunjali marakkar is heavily budgeted, while Mammootty's kunjali has comparatively smaller budget.
