Mamma mia musical at NMACC is breathtakingly amazing and fresh. Yesteryears Hollywood actress Meryl Streep played the main part in a movie of the same name, MAMMA MIA!, but this film was made eight years after the musical was first staged. The story is about how a single working mother raises her only daughter, bravely facing the challenges life throws at her,and her relation with her young daughter who is about to get married.The daughter discovers her mother's personal diary and invites her mother's three boyfriends to her wedding posing as her mother,as one of them could be her father,and how the three men come and then the turn of events with loads of romance, fun,laughter, heart & mind blowing music and evergreen songs From Abba like Thankyou for the music Dancing Queen Mamma mia the title song Slipping through my hands The winner takes it all Voulez vous This musical play at Grand Theatre NMACC is a cherry on cake in the entertainment scenario in Bombay with the wonderful stage artists, lovely costumes, beautiful sets, lights n sound effects and of course the Magnificent Grand Theatre. And last but not the least the ecstatic audience or better described as Mamma mia fanclub with pure love and joy evident on their faces all along the musical. I think Padmavat is a fabulous movie which actually transports you to that era when the Delhi Sultanate is under the rule of the ruthless,vicious,lusty and greedy Alauddin Khilji.He is evil to the hilt,he not only kills his father in law Jalaluddin for the Delhi throne but his obsession for the queen of Chittor Rani Padmavat is scary and nerve wrecking.At times you feel you are not watching a movie,but have gone back in time and are witnessing the real thing.It is a movie about the valour, ethics, grandeur of the Rajputs kings of Mewar.Not only the kings but the queens are also bravehearts skillfully trained in the art of warfare.This is a true story about one such a queen Rani Padmavat who was an example of exquisite beauty,wit,grace and valour.Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavat,Shahid Kapoor as King Of Chittor Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji have all lived up to their roles.

A story with a good twist, superb acting by Raveena Tandon,even Milind Soman and Vidhi have acted well.The movie is a good insight into the human psyche,games of passion, love,revenge.Only one thing is not clear and makes you think that when Raveena had revealed her identity that night to the hospital staff while calling and arranging for an ambulance to Hill Villa,so then is that not enough to prove her involvement in the murder of her husband who had been unfaithful to her.Also nobody seems to have seen her while coming to and going from her Hill Villa place.She is not caught by any camera while leaving her house,and also none of the street cameras capture her.Her maid doesn't wake up when she starts her car in the night to leave for her Hill Villa house.All these are kind of unexplained in the movie and makes the audience wonder Or is there a One Friday Night 2

A different film but in sync with present times.A beautiful talented girl aspiring to become an actress gets into surrogacy for a foreigner couple,all the while cleverly hiding it from her family with the help and support of friends.This idea to make a quick buck ends up messing her life as the couple rejects the unborn baby who is detected with chances of being born with Downs Syndrome.This movie is about her life as she goes on a emotional rollercoaster ride of ups and downs,gains and losses,tears and laughter and eventually......Finding herself or Losing herself,now that's for the audience to decide.

Eternal theme of the victory of good over evil.The movie is inspired by the Indian Epic Ramayana of how Raghav rescues his abducted wife Janaki from the clutches of evil Ravaan with the help of his brother Shesh (Lakshamana),apes monkeys and forest folk.The mythological characters Ram as Raghav played by actor Prabhas.of Bahubali fame,Sita as Janaki played by the beautiful and versatile actor Kriti Sanon,Ravaan played by none other than the very talented Saif Ali Khan and many more artists.The movie is 3D with good visual effects.
