I've heard MANY people complaining about this movie for it's lack of gore and lore. I agree to an extent, there was not as much gore as I anticipated but then again it is a PG-13 rated movie. And within the movie you have to look for lore bits (which created a sense of mystery). I personally enjoyed this movie, from the little mini game scenes in the intro to the big reveal towards the end (and some of the popular YouTube streamers playing characters in it) There is so much within this movie to look for (including the little drops of game lore). If this movie had copied the games we would know what to expect and it wouldn't be as fun without something new and different... Overall, I would recommend this movie for all FNAF fans new or old.

My dad recommended this movie to me calling it a classic vampire horror film. I would definitely say 4 stars since some things were introduced at the most random times. For instance, werewolves - do the vampires have an ability to turn into a wolf in this universe or something (I thought it was separate). Another reason I'd give Four stars is because how does her hair change from being so short to shoulder length throughout a story that takes place in maybe a week, not to mention her hair turned from dark brown to blonde/ginger. But I definitely will say, I enjoyed the character development of all the main characters, and I enjoy knowing that the movie is based off of a show within the movie (Fright Night) and one of the characters remarks, "Fright Night... For real." I'm a 21st generation so I will only be able to guess that the effects were the best for its time. All in all, I would recommend this movie. (Even if it is a little cheesy at times)

At first I was a little disappointed with the whole Brooklyn/Queens thing but it all pieced together and everything played out nicely. I love how everything from the games were introduced in the movie. The ONLY thing my family thought was missing was Peach's kiss on Mario's cheek at the end of the movie (which is at the end of the games once Mario saves Peach). All in all, I 100% recommend this movie. I got very excited at how much they added.
