I feel like I lost brain cells just having it play in the background while I scanned social media. A MTV music video has more depth. The bad guys are preposterous caricatures of how Hollywood imagines southern states. The simplicity of the writing is offensive.

Requires suspension of disbelief throughout. Mostly an identity politics fantasy piece, comprised of cornball lampooning of conservatives, punctuated by a few Disney-esque action scenes.

It is as if the show visits elementary school cafeterias and asks the kids to write jokes for the show during their lunch break. Then they pick the worst ones for their show. The bad material is made all the more pathetic due to Trevor working so hard to come across as witty. Instead, he comes across as smug and sophomoric.
