Its fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Sometimes the directing is a bit overdone, and the pacing seems to be deliberately slow. Storytelling also seems dependent on prior knowledge of the antagonist of the story (which I had none) in order to understand fully the irony and danger implicit in the interaction between the two main characters. Honestly I’d probably say watch it if you want but don't expect too much.

As for the movie, it was meh. I think they tried too hard to make every line, every scene, funny and overly clever, when some just need to move the story along and/or be mildly clever. It was amusing, not a waste of time, but I won't watch it over again probably

Tense, well acted and well written. The best of the best submarine movie.

It’s fun to watch with a few unforeseen turns of events. Otherwise you kinda know where it’s headed, but it’s a fun ride with very few letdowns (I didn’t hit the +10 sec button but once in an overlong “zombie cathedral” section). If you like action movies and at least even tolerate zombies you’ll like it.
