A great read. Solving the mystery of the disappearance of the child keeps the reader very engaged and builds to a gripping climax. The characters are very well drawn and nuanced. The author is especially adept at evoking an ominous and eerie mood in the descriptions of the Scottish landscape and weather and especially of the loch. Looking forward to the next exploits of the newly formed detective team.
