The only saving grace of this film series and keeping an audience in their seats through most of it is Disney playing to our nostalgia with cameos of our favorite characters and scenes taken straight from the original Sagas. Take these out of the equation and you have yourself a flatly tuned movie with a dull dragging plot carried by dull knuckle-dragging two dimensional characters who add nothing to the sage or the greater galaxy
