The movie takes on an artistic feel by making use of legend vadivelu's vocals for the songs and background score. The movie does not come by as a typical political film instead it has its own twists and turns. Vadivelu portrays a role that is different from his typical comedian sidekick. It was truly mesmerising to see him in this light. His acting is so natural esp when he shows his love for his political party and family. Udayanidhi takes on a role that is different and shines out when he has to step up to protect his father. A unique portrayal of a father and son love. Fahadh's acting makes u hate him as villain and make u start rooting for vadivelu's win in the elections. That itself speaks of his brillant acting. A truly feel good movie from kollywood.

I was recommended to watch this series. After end of first episode, I was hooked. The plot was for the series was executed well. The casting was perfect. Regina as police officer embodied that arrogance but also able to portray the emotions of a mother. It was fantastic. Kathir is another wonderful actor who is able to carry off the character of Sakkarai well. I have been watching his acting since big screen and he never fails as usual. The series develops story for each character well. On top of that, it is filled with twists and turns that makes u keep wondering 'who did it?'. Its an emotional ride as we as an audience are also trying to solve the crime together with the police officers. The series also ties with the mayana kollai Festival. I like how the sequences between the good guy and bad guys is synced together with the scenes in the festival. Thoroughly enjoyed this series. A must watch. Glad this is a series and not a movie. Cause its a great joy ride for over 8 episodes. I hope to see a season 2 of this.
