I wrote a whole review....and lost it. Briefly, it's an obnoxious and even abusive storyline with top notch performers. Tim Allen is a comedic genius with the best expressions ever. I love Jamie Lee but her character was over-the-top. 2/3 into the movie Tim was so hysterical I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. That alone was worth the time spent.

This movie was different, fun, funny, relevant for the times, and refreshing. Being inundated with sappy and recurring-storyline Christmas movies, I only watched with "one eye" initially. Eddie Murphy and Tracie Ellis Ross drew me in, at first. But the story line and additional characters made me go all in. The last half hour of the movie is really creative, funny, and an absolute visual treat! I see no reason why children can't watch.

Love this show - and glad there's at least another season. The acting is great and I love "Alan" and "Celia" and the role Sarah Lancaster plays. They're all believable characters and the story line is interesting. It's very true to life. I wish it would go on and on.

I love this movie!! It's totally adorable. These creatures are not only fun to watch, but the dialogue is creative, fun, and funny. Who doesn't love listening to George Clooney and Meryl Streep?

This is among the very BEST of its genre! These Jane and Lily together are fantastic. They balance each other so well and they give me BELLY LAUGHS! G&F has everything. it's poignant. I can relate to much of it. I think I'm more like Grace (wo the $$) but would *love* a friend like Frankie. The cast is great. Jane and Lily were substitute hosts on Ellen on Friday 1/17 and they work so well together. Again.... BELLY LAUGHS. Lily said there wasn't going to be a "G&F" after Season 7. Sad. Very, very sad. They are my "go tos" when I need an uplift. <3

I laughed through the first few episodes at just how entitled these characters came off. Made me think about my life and what I've been through. I didn't think I'd make it through the whole series but it got better...so much better...and I can now say it was pretty rewarding! I cried like a baby with each of their trials. I want to know HOW THEY GOT DOWN OFF THE MOUNTAIN!!

Excellent story, excellent comedy, excellently written and performed. I had belly laughs between the dialog and the facial expressions, side splitting. Steve Martin and Martin Short are hysterical. Great cast, fun scenario. Wouldn't mind living at the Arcania(?).

Good show. The main characters play well off each other. They are pretty likable. Subject matter is serious and is a bit Lifetime story-like. The adults, played by some actors/actresses whose lives I want to get to know more about, have their issues (well-acted) and the teens have theirs (also well-acted). Sometimes sugary situations (the Lifetime story-like) help distract from the seriousness of life right now. Some scenes are predictable, some are not. The season ended with a huge cliff-hanger..........so I DO hope it returns.

Different. Takes you to extremes emotionally. A strange family with love as the foundation with a lot of drama, a lit of secrets, twists and turns but tha foundation of love.

It started off slow (for me) but Ricky Gervais is hysterically funny. It's British humor that I had to get used to. I loved the frankness in the dialogue and the relationships between the characters, and I'm glad I had the Closed Captioning set to ON. While the basic story line is quite poignant, it lends itself to some really funny belly laughs. It gave me a few moments of honest tears and heavy thought in the process.
