The true measure of a video game for me, is how well it transplabts you do a different place and time. How easy it is to lose the hours and be frequently shocked and amazed and otherwise enriched by the experience playing the game. Starfield absolutely crushes the core aspects of gaming for me. It's a Bethesda game, so you know what you're getting. However, it is a much-improved, much more polished production than anything they have previously put their name to. My recommendation is this.. ignore the review bombs, stop reading Google reviews of this game and just go play it. It is brilliant.
