Depressing, casting and script are incoherent. Feels as though this story was originally set in a different country, doesn't work in the United Kingdom. Huge plot holes, most of the romantic pairings, meant to be woke, miss the mark. The only one that is believable, that of the protagonist, is written as fake. Whaa?

This positive review is NOT written by someone paid to write it, as you see so often these days. It really is an excellent film. Good acting, great writing. Love the graphics. Only criticism: The actress who plays the LA cop (Danielle) talks far too fast or garbles her words - difficult to understand her, so I missed important pieces of the story line. That's the director's fault. Jason Bateman is wonderful here playing the tongue-in-cheek bad guy. He plays these ironic characters with such panache. I'm going to recommend him for Best Actor SAG award as I'm on the committee! Watch it on Netflix! It's a classic and could last for decades.

Not Nicole Kidman best work nor Liev Schriber but they are still very good, pros who present well rounded characters not one dimensional. He succeeded at this skillfully, fully believable. The actress who played the fiancé seems to be learning on the job, very thin portrayal. Weakest cog in the wheel. Feels like a nepo baby casting choice. The 4 young male leads are very believable. Beautiful locations, wardrobe, makeup. Classic upscale soap opera, minimal profanity, with lots of plot holes.

Very watchable, the charismatic Ted Danson. Interesting premise but the reactions and dialogue of the characters are a little immature, often not believable. Also many scenes drag. It IS a comedy but Danson makes sure to flesh out and create at least one deep rounded character, not one-dimensional. Thank you for good lighting, and showing spectacular San Francisco sights. The lack of F-bombs and most profanity is another blessing. Am looking forward to next season and further development of his spy skills! Danson carries it- he has such a great spirit! Hope he stays around a long time.

Fantastic. Another superb turn by the great Billy Bob Thornton. Jon Hamm and the other actors are good in their roles. Gives you an accurate sense of oil operation in West Texas (wild and wooly). The X wife's performance a little over the top, hope she tones it down a little to match the depth of the other actors. Also so that we can believe Billy Bob would actually want to be with her again. She can't be a caricature. Still give it five stars since it's so far superior to ALL the new movies, and top among new TV and streaming series. I think the better skilled actors (like Billy Bob and Kate Blanchett) prefer series now. They have more time to flush out their characters. Bravo!!

Beautiful, compelling, well-acted, well-directed, gorgeous New York and Paris locations. Excellent, classy Sydney Pollack film with many plot twists. The light tone is delicate and hard to pull off, but perfectly executed. See Sabrina if you weren't around in the nineties. You will love it! Engrossing.

Spectacular 90s classic movie when they had big budgets. Great cinematography, lighting. They actually used lighting so you could see the faces of the actors! How I miss that in the 2010s and 2020s dark mode of filmmaking. Wonderful performance from Harrison Ford. The writing was good but the story line a bit disconnected but not as bad as films since 2018. Deserves a much higher rating compared to the abysmal crop of films today.

Overwrought, drags, don't be fooled that if it is a Clint Eastwood movie it will be good, even with known actors. Low budget film made in small town Georgia - 6 locations: local bar, bridge, courthouse, prosecutor's office, jury room, juror's house. Not compelling.

Brilliant, compelling movie. Directing and acting is flawless except the blonde hooker has such a heavy Slavic accent sometimes I could not understand a word she said. It didn't make any difference, however, to the story line, though she did not understand what was going on - maybe that was a metaphor. Maybe she is Ukrainian and they wanted to give her a job. Michael Keaton and Al Pacino are stellar as always, but somebody should nominate Marcia Gay Harden for her nuanced truly fine acting -says so much about the story and Michael's character. The conversations between Al Pacino and Michael Keaton are pure genius-wouldn't be surprised if they improvised some of it - so natural and speaking in code as gangsters do, but you could decipher the code! Rather amazing plan and dangerous to execute unless every step was perfect. I loved the plot, too. Satisfying ending. Superb movie! BRAVO! Thank thee.
