Awful depressing movie. Disappointing because there are so many great stars in it.

Great Matthew McConnaughey acting. He never phones it in. Very realistic, makes you truly understand what people go thru who lost their homes in a fire. Wonder if they used CGI or maybe have some footage from the actual fire. Interested in the budget but it's not available online. Good directing by Paul Greengrass.

Disastrous. Liam Neesom should not have taken this role. Blight on his career. Thank goodness I had the sense not to pay $19.95 to watch on Prime. They must bribe the critics these days. Pam Anderson was actually excellent. Very talented, one of the few truly feminine actresses left. Hope she keeps performing. She is quite good at satire but not enough to save this movie.

5 stars for Ethan Hawke who is due a major acting award - Golden Globe and SAG for Best Lead actor. His acting skill is dazzling. Dialogue is also well written and music is good. Some supporting characters are a little too creepy but they aren't on long. You can fast forward. The X wife is miscast, no reason to believe he is pining for her - no chemistry. But Hawke is so brilliant it doesn't matter. Please give him an award this time!!! Hey, MAGAs, the rich white guys are known as 'good ole boys' in this neck of the woods, & they've been around a LONGGG time!

Fabulous! Jimmy Kimmel is fast on his feet, making up jokes spontaneously as he goes along. Jimmy is brilliant. This show is such a relief from contentious whiny cable news talk shows that are just -ZZZZZT- static! Shows how really creative people can answer hard questions just by thinking it through! It's a model for how to get thru life in these nightmarish times.

This series is disjointed. Is this an influential aging producer or writer producing a vehicle for aging dissipated male Spanish actors to get work? Everyone is sad, unfulfilled, and unhappy. The plot(s) seem thrown together, such negative and mean dialogue, only one attractive woman, the wife. Most female characters are flat-chested with no sex appeal, yet the men have to pretend they are attracted. Is the writer gay or hates women? Perhaps it makes sense in Spanish, to Spaniards. Dubbed in English, I do not recommend unless you enjoy feeling that humanity has no redeeming value. The characters truly are rotten, as the title tells you.

Depressing, casting and script are incoherent. Feels as though this story was originally set in a different country, doesn't work in the United Kingdom. Huge plot holes, most of the romantic pairings, meant to be woke, miss the mark. The only one that is believable, that of the protagonist, is written as fake. Whaa?

This positive review is NOT written by someone paid to write it, as you see so often these days. It really is an excellent film. Good acting, great writing. Love the graphics. Only criticism: The actress who plays the LA cop (Danielle) talks far too fast or garbles her words - difficult to understand her, so I missed important pieces of the story line. That's the director's fault. Jason Bateman is wonderful here playing the tongue-in-cheek bad guy. He plays these ironic characters with such panache. I'm going to recommend him for Best Actor SAG award as I'm on the committee! Watch it on Netflix! It's a classic and could last for decades.

Not Nicole Kidman best work nor Liev Schriber but they are still very good, pros who present well rounded characters not one dimensional. He succeeded at this skillfully, fully believable. The actress who played the fiancé seems to be learning on the job, very thin portrayal. Weakest cog in the wheel. Feels like a nepo baby casting choice. The 4 young male leads are very believable. Beautiful locations, wardrobe, makeup. Classic upscale soap opera, minimal profanity, with lots of plot holes.

Very watchable, the charismatic Ted Danson. Interesting premise but the reactions and dialogue of the characters are a little immature, often not believable. Also many scenes drag. It IS a comedy but Danson makes sure to flesh out and create at least one deep rounded character, not one-dimensional. Thank you for good lighting, and showing spectacular San Francisco sights. The lack of F-bombs and most profanity is another blessing. Am looking forward to next season and further development of his spy skills! Danson carries it- he has such a great spirit! Hope he stays around a long time.
