It might come off as a pretty standard slice-of-life sports anime, but boy when ish hits the fan, it hits HARD. A fair warning for people who may be triggered with portrayals of child abuse (whether it be physical, emotional, or both). However, I think instead of using it as a shock factor, dark subject matters are handled with care. Childhood trauma isn't all that these characters go through and they still move forward, sometimes with a little help from their teammates. I'm really hoping for a second season soon!
