30 minutes in and the movie still hasn't hit the inciting incident. There's really nothing to grab you and keep you interested. The very first fight scene feels very scripted. Oh, I am going to stand here while you approach to attack me and now I'm going to kick your butt. The dubbing was also very badly done. It might have been better in its native language with subtitles. Either way, I didn't make it past the 30-minute mark. It's supposed to be about a girl with a destiny to go and fight a demon but there's a lot of propaganda and not enough work done to get to what we're told is the point of the movie. When you can't get to your hook in the first 5-10 minutes, you have a problem. I gave it as long as I could but it just did not have enough going for it to keep me in my seat.
