I read the book very recently and although there are some differences, I don't find that to be upsetting. I love the casting, the clothes, the chemistry, and I can't wait for more. Maybe the only thing I'd be critical of is the lack of drugs. In the book it's such a focus that you know right off the bat how prominent they are; how much a problem it was for both Billy and then Daisy. You see her pop pills like a little but truly it's such a heavy addiction in the book, it's a theme in every scene. Maybe just a little too rated R though to have coke show up so often in the show which is why that's lacking
