How’s the Josh , “ HIGH SIR !! ”
This is what the movie URI left me with. An out and out must watch , thrilling and well made film by Aditya Dhar.
Things to ignore while watching : The debatable release timing , unnecessary dramatization in the form of an ailing mother , a widow striving to prove her patriotism to her dead husband , laughable way of selecting drones from DRDO etc.
What I liked most about URI , is that it is a brilliant reminder of the risks and struggles undergone by our army at the borders , while we enjoy in our plush offices and crib about everything wrong going around in the nation. It also highlights the changing India which took undertook some bold decisions after years of being defensive ,after the URI strikes in September , 2016. Also , many people are alleging that the movie glorifies war and this movie in no way does that. It was more about how India stood to fight against it enemies and give them a stern warning to stop messing with us.The movie was very gripping and I was always like what is going to happen next.
